Fluoride, fluoride everywhere, but is it safe to drink?
In light of the questions I raised in my recent post titled Exploring Eugenics dated August 29, 2006, my son brought to my attention a video interview with Christopher Bryson, an investigative journalist, regarding the widespread use of fluoride in the U.S. For those who have been interested in health issues, the controversy of the benefits of fluoride is not a new topic. However, you may find this particular video to have some interesting history regarding fluoride that is not so commonly known. Aside from the industrial involvement with exposing workers and surrounding residents to harmful levels of fluoride, it appears that the U.S. government also sanctioned the distribution of fluoride in the public water system even though they still had concerns of the safety of fluoride. As part of the research done for the Manhattan Project, there was concern regarding the safety of fluoride, one of the chemicals used in the making of the atomc bombs. Rather than reveal the dangers of fluoride exposure, the government touted the safety of fluoride so that they could continue with the Manhattan Project and subsequently protect themselves from any lawsuits filed regarding fluoride exposure.
Bryson explains in more detail how and why fluoride has been allowed and accepted by the population despite its documented toxicity in humans. The method has been primarily through deception. Bryson’s interview also shows examples of the types of actions taken by the medical community towards the researchers and the results of valid research that proves unfavorable to their agenda. The researchers are blacklisted and the information buried, and once again, the average U.S. citizens are but pawns to the whims of those in positions to make policies. This is yet another example of how organized medicine breeches my trust towards so-called evidenced-based medicine. Is the motive greed? Or perhaps another example of eugenics at work?
